Τhe first Study visit of the Envision Project took place on the 5th of March 2020 in Cyprus at the premises of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities.
During the Study Visti, the partners of the Project discussed with the Ministry of Interior Election Service Director, Mr. Dimitris Dimitriou and with the Integration Issues Responsible in the Civil Registry and Migration Department, Mr. Michael Mpeis. Τhey also had a meeting with the responsible for Political Affairs in the European Commission Delegation to Cyprus, Mrs. Yolanda Valasopoulou.
Τhe discussion evolved around the following topics: Presentation of the EnVision Project, discussion on the results of the research conducted on national level, the procedures for the integration of European citizens in Cyprus, recommendations for the next project steps and for increasing the participation in public consultations.
